I do not save my walks for after I finish work. I use them as part of how I work.

Even ten minutes changes something. The mental static clears. I come back to my desk with a different quality of attention than I left with.
I have also found that the mundane tasks, the ones that feel hardest to start, go better when I break them up with movement in green space.
